Our company began in 2015 as Pembroke Loss Prevention after co-founders Bruno Mota and Kelly Del Fuoco Mota recognized an opportunity to help multi-unit owners analyze video surveillance and point of sales data to identify profit and loss. We began offering services in this area and realized almost immediately that every business has an endless data supply, far beyond video, waiting to be analyzed for business trends. In 2020, we rebranded as Pembroke & Co. to better represent the wide breadth of unique services we offer, which now includes loss prevention monitoring, operational excellence auditing, and recruiting services.
Even as we’ve grown and scaled, we remain deeply involved in daily operations. But what truly sets us apart is our dynamic, close-knit culture—a team of like-minded, driven individuals who embrace scrappy innovation. No matter the pain point, we swiftly craft solutions, even when none currently exist. Our small but mighty team thrives on fast communication, ensuring we deliver results at a speed that others simply can’t match.

Bruno Mota is the co-founder and CEO of Pembroke & Co., where he builds lasting partnerships with his clients and creates innovative solutions to best support them. Bruno started his career in restaurant management, where he joined a quick-service restaurant (QSR) group in the loss prevention department. After switching to finance, he quickly got calls from QSR owners requesting his loss prevention services. What Bruno thought would be short-term help for his peers quickly unveiled itself as a wide-scale need. After decades in the industry, he added machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to his portfolio of expertise to better serve his clients.
When not meeting with clients, you can find him watching Formula 1, discovering a new route for a Sunday drive, or catching up on the newest finance book.
Kelly Del Fuoco Mota is the co-founder and COO of Pembroke & Co. Kelly started her career in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry and quickly became a manager at a high-volume training store. After switching to corporate, she found her niche in human resources and talent acquisition at a fast-growing pre-IPO biomed company. Kelly was approached by Bruno in 2015 to join Pembroke & Co. and support the back-office setup and scalability. Since then, she formed new sectors of Pembroke & Co. which include recruiting and consulting services, and pioneered their software development initiatives. Kelly continues to oversee all internal operations and aligns them to best support their clients.
When not at the office, you can find her reading the latest best-seller, walking her dog (Dudley, a corgi), or re-decorating her home for the hundredth time.
